Drawings of Daniel Clowes

Did some illustrations for a piece on Daniel Clowes for California Sunday recently, which just came out. Here are my contributions and a couple of proposals for strips playing with the theme of his complicated relationship with the comics mainstream, including what he says was the great motivating force of the 'chip on his shoulder' about not being accepted into it (I know, I know).
